Stand Out Stories

Wow ! They did what........

Just a few of our characters have been able to provide more than just a few basic pieces of life data and here we share the knowledge gained.

In each family there are a number of unsung heroes and characters who lived lives that we can only imagine. Unkless, of course, we can find the information and evidence to bring those characters to life.

Below are just a few of the members of our family tree whose lives were more dcumented than others and are worth looking at in greater detail.

There are no doubt many others whose lives would have given much interest to the modern reader but whose information is still to be discovered.

Stand Out Stories

Stories have to be told or they die, and when they die, we can’t remember who we are or why we’re here. – Sue Monk Kidd

The following life stories are part of the reason why we research our trees. How did our ancestors live? What were their conditions and how did they cope?  Although we are only able to determine a depth of information about a person in a limited number of cases, those that we do have provide a wealth of knowledge that goes some way to answering our questions.
